This unique vintage brooch or pendant was crafted from solid 14k yellow gold. It features a large oval shaped carved shell cameo bezel set at its center. The piece of shell used for this particular carving is very uniquely convex shaped allowing the portrait to have a domed 3D look. That cameo is then surrounded by a pair of twisted wire frames with a finer one on the inside and a much coarser one on the outside.
