Vintage Multi Colored Jade Bead Necklace & Carved Jade Pendant with an old Cloisonné Clasp. We believe this pendant depicts the legend of Phoenix carrying the golden pearl. Phoenix represents prosperity and harmony When the golden pearl fell to earth and became a lake, Phoenix and Dragon lay down beside it and Phoenix became the symbol of the balance of Yin and Yang.

The soft colors of the jade blend well. They include pale green, light green and sage tones, as well as rose, black, cream, and pale pink, with gold tone beads.

I have not tested the gold beads. The round clasp is a lovely old Cloisonné push lock, you don't see many like this, it's very unusual today. It is light blue with flowers on it.

A beautifully carved rose pendant hangs from the center of the necklace. It has ombré coloring of cream to brown. This is a gorgeous piece of jade.

Condition of the necklace as a whole is very good preowned vintage, the clasp closes well and stays snug, the beads are well-strung and hang gracefully. 9mm round, with slight variations as these are hand carved. Length of necklace: 20.5.
