LOVELY 1800's Carved Mother of Pearl & French Silver Wax Seal / Stamp. This is a beautiful solid silver and carved mother of pearl wax seal made in France circa 1880. The intricate hand crafted silverwork is decorated with scrolls and foliage, with soft gold gilding'Vermeil' see pictures please.

The iridescent mother of pearl has delicate carved flower and leave. The matrix has engraved monogram'MAS'. It is in great antique condition, see high quality pictures provided. It is fully hallmarked'Wild Boar Head' and lozenge with the silversmith's mark. It measures 3 ¼" high, ¾" across to the widest point of the top and the matrix is 3/8" long by 5/16" wide, it weighs 14.4 grams.
