Elaborately hand carved guards and monture shows floral baskets and stars, florals in a thrilling design, and there are no breaks or losses at all. Two paste gems mounted on the ring, an original silk passementerie tassel and all that one of a kind bobbin lace compliment on the blue silk of the leaf. Full measurements noted on our photos. Very good to excellent condition for age and type, no tears and no breaks. Back is more a gauze fabric, and it does show a little darkening, as shown in our photos. Front leaf shows a couple of darkened spots - one has a to wonder if it was folded and stored after use without being bone-dry and has a little mildew (no odors at all). The silk satin covered card fan box attends it, may or may not be original, is longer than the fan and allows for the tassel. There are no maker marks or stamps, no signature.
